Merge Users

We have launched a new feature that will allow you to merge users. This will allow you to merge two users into one user. It will also combine all their purchases into that new merged user. 

(Note: AAM Users, please read the bottom for some more info)

1. Navigate to the Merge Users option in the Left Menu:

2. It should open a new tab in your browser (if it doesn't, please check pop-up blocker and click the button on this screen):

3. Select the first user that you would like to merge with another user. 

       a. You can search by First Name, Last Name, Email Address, or Master Pass Number

4. Now Repeat this process for user two:

5. Select the options you would like from user one, and the options you would like from user two. The options that select will appear in the right section called "Merged Data". This area will tell you exactly the information that your combining to form a new user in the system and receive all the former two users order history.

       a. Tip: If your picking everything from one of the two users you can simply click "Select All" Right above the drop               down.

6. Once everything looks correct in the "Merged Data" area, click Merge Accounts. 

7. Once the System has completed the Merge it will provide a Success Message and restart the screen. 

AAM Users Special Note:

- Due to your integration with the system, we would like to draw your attention to the field "vmsstatus". This field will tell you if the user is in VMS or Not In VMS. If you merge a users information like their ResidentContactKey into one that isn't in VMS this will cause the person to be reimported into the system. The system looks at that ResidentContactKey and if you merge it into a profile that isn't in VMS you will get another duplicate record.
